I have noticed that our clients are being registered in the SEE groups instead of under the AD groups. When I checked the Eventvwr and the Server Config manager, i noticed the ADSYNC service was stopped. The following error is logged 4-5 mintues after starting.
Faulting application symantec.endpoint.encryption.adsync.exe, version 8201.500.118.1, stamp 510c4fb9, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.5069, stamp 506be89c, debug? 0, fault address 0x0000bef7.
This is logged with a source of .NET Runtime 2.0 Error.
From what I can see there were no other changes that happened around the same time, and the error started early in the morning.
We have tried to restart manually and reboot the server, but still no change. Any Ideas?
