Automating Sending PGP E-mails

Hello,

We are using PGP Desktop and PGP Universal Server and was wondering if it is possible to automate sending of e-mails, PGP encrypted, without a user being logged in?

We are looking into automating some of our processes and this might make things easier for ourselves.

We haven't upgraded to the Symantec E-mail Encryption yet and may look into buying something else if it can't. I've read that Symantec Gateway Email Encryption can but I just want to double check.

If it is possible, can we upgrade from PGP Universal Server to Symantec Gateway Email Encryption? We have a support agreement in place.
